Email Notification In Google Spreadsheet

There is a new feature in google spreadsheets. That’s an email notification for a change of google spreadsheet.

In my personal google account, there is the only general notification setting. It has less benefits than the conditional notification.

Let’s start from the general notification settings.

General Notification Settings

Navigate to ‘Tools > Notification settings > Edit notifications’.

Select your own option.

It’s done!

Input a text in a sheet.

The notification email is sent.

Conditional Notification

The conditional notification can be shown in the organization’s google account. But I don’t figure out why I can’t see the conditional notification menu in the general personal google account.

Select ‘Tools > Conditional notifications’.

Select ‘Add rule’ at the bottom.

Set the option and it’s done.
