Apple has announced the iPhone 17 with a base storage of 256 GB—double the previous entry model. It comes in five colors: black, lavender, mist blue, sage, and white. Pre-orders began September 12, with availability from September 19.
Display and Design
The iPhone 17 features a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion up to 120 Hz, thinner borders, and a scratch resistance three times stronger than before. An always-on mode can drop the refresh rate to 1 Hz to save power.
Performance Upgrades
Powered by the A19 chip, the device delivers faster performance and all-day battery life with quicker charging.
Camera Innovations
The 48-MP Dual Fusion system enhances photo quality with a new ultra-wide lens and 2× telephoto. The Center Stage front camera supports up to 18 MP and uses AI to keep subjects in frame during selfies and video calls. The device also records 4K/60fps Dolby Vision with spatial audio.
