In a revelation that no one could have seen coming, it turns out that President Trump enjoys experimental films, avant-garde theater offerings and even foreign-language films.
Except, not exactly. In fact, the article goes on to suggest that while those initial rumors were aflutter, the President is, in fact, rewatching animated films from the early 2000s from his favorite era of animation, the “Ice Age” series, using Netflix’s autoplay feature until the new day.
All of which has taken some people by surprise because, honestly, we expected to be inhabited by an even higher being during a time notorious for its history-making presidential meltdowns.
“Several White House officials, who asked for anonymity to speak candidly about the president’s Netflix viewing habits … ditched those claims as not entirely credible and/or accurate. According to the people who actually work there, notes the Times article, Mr. Trump is less interested in landmark theatrical productions or low-rent reality fare than you’d likely assume.
The bottom line: somebody has a lotta love for the sequel “Collision Course,” and a whole lotta rewatching to do.
