Using unsupervised learning, the platform offers insights into emerging trends, for example chasing-efficiency, smart living and smart logistics. Through natural language processing, DeepSeek can examines consumer comments and review sites, providing qualitative insights into consumer motivations. The tool can also be used in the same way as an online search engine. The DeepSeek web app can be used in the DeepSeek SDK, which developers can use within their own applications. The engine already serves thousands of China’s top clients, with over 400 clients using its APIs, and its mobile SDKs have been betatested by over 30 clients. The tech giant has differentiated its analysis in comparison with other market research tools, claiming the tech achieves up to a “50% improvement over famous tools”. The engine is used for, amongst other things, analyzing web content, commentary from influencers, new products, and areas of Buzz & KOLs. Advertising group WPP has purchased a minority stake in the technology, prioritizing its researchers to use the platform.
